2024-08-14feat(fmt): support HTML, Svelte, Vue, Astro and Angular (#25019)Pig Fang
This commit adds capability to format HTML, Svelte, Vue, Astro and Angular files. "--unstable-html" is required to format HTML files, and "--unstable-component" flag is needed to format other formats. These can also be specified in the config file. Close #25015
2024-08-14test: run unit tests with DENO_FUTURE=1 (#24400)Bartek Iwańczuk
This commit adds another test suite that runs all Deno unit tests with `DENO_FUTURE=1` flag to ensure all APIs are working as expected, once Deno 2 is released. --------- Co-authored-by: Divy Srivastava <dj.srivastava23@gmail.com>
2024-08-14feat(node): support `username` and `_password` in `.npmrc` file (#24793)Asher Gomez
Closes #23950
2024-08-14fix(node/fs): node:fs.read and write should accept typed arrays other than ↵Nathan Whitaker
Uint8Array (#25030) Part of #25028. Our underlying read/write operations in `io` assume the buffer is a Uint8Array, but we were passing in other typed arrays (in the case above it was `Int8Array`).
2024-08-14fix(node/inspector): Session constructor should not throw (#25041)Marvin Hagemeister
There is no constructor code when creating an inspector `Session` instance in Node. Also get rid of some symbols which should've been private properties. This PR doesn't yet add any new implementations though as these are mostly cosmetic changes.
2024-08-14fix(cli): support --watch when running cjs npm packages (#25038)Luca Casonato
2024-08-14fix: `node:inspector` not being registered (#25007)Marvin Hagemeister
For some reason we didn't register the `node:inspector` module, which lead to a panic when trying to import it. This PR registers it. Related: https://github.com/denoland/deno/issues/25004
2024-08-14chore: fix wrong extension in lsp mappings (#25037)Marvin Hagemeister
The mappings were pointing to non-existant `.ts` files. The actual extension of these is `.js`.

2024-08-13fix(upgrade): use proper version display (#25029)Bartek Iwańczuk
This commit fixes output of `deno upgrade` subcommand, by displaying proper version numbers. Before this PR we were prepending "v" before the canary version hash, which was obviously wrong.
2024-08-13fix(tls): print a warning if a system certificate can't be loaded (#25023)Bartek Iwańczuk
This commit changes how system certificates are loaded on startup. Instead of hard erroring if a certificate can't be decoded, we are now printing a warning and bumping a hex representation of the certificate and continue execution. Ref https://github.com/denoland/deno/issues/24137
2024-08-12feat(publish): error on missing license file (#25011)David Sherret
Closes https://github.com/denoland/deno/issues/24676

Which in turn causes an error to be raised which later just short-circuits logic for checking the version and storing it in file. Since fetching from a remote host is always fallible I elected to just return an empty vec of "rc" versions instead of erroring. This might lead to a slight mismatch in some situation when the request actually failed and user is prompted that there's a new canary version, but that is better than not displaying prompt at all. This issue will be fixed more robustly once we move to using SUI for specifying version of the binary.

This commit stabilizes HMR functionality and renames `--unstable-hmr` to `--watch-hmr`. The `--unstable-hmr` flag is still working, but hidden from the help output. It will be removed in Deno 2. Once https://github.com/denoland/deno/pull/24958 lands we should improve grouping of `--watch` and `--watch-hmr` flags.
